Fresh off the loom
So exciting to see my designs be made into beautiful hand knotted rugs! It takes weavers in India about 6-9 months to complete these rugs. Thank you to all who helped make this possible. Also, it’s very exciting to know that one of these got selected to be part of the Jaipur Living assortment in the Heritage Collection. It takes multiple round of reviews for a rug to get selected so I’m very happy!

Speaking at the HIGH Museum for the Atlanta Design Festival
What an experience! I had a blast having the opportunity to present during the High Museum Atlanta Design Festival! I presented a CEU class on Rugs101 talking about the art of hand made rugs and how different constructions fit into different spaces. It was so educational for me as prepped for this event and it was so rewarding to be a part of this festival! :)
Toshikoshi soba :)
It's Japanese tradition to eat toshikoshi soba (year-crossing noodle) on New Years Eve. This custom lets go of hardship of the year because soba noodles are easily cut while eating. :)

Welcome baby bunny!
As you may have already known, my husband and I welcomed our beautiful baby girl. Being first time parents, we are enjoying staying busy with the daily schedules of eat, sleep, poop.. repeat. :) We wouldn't trade it for the world! lol. Finally having some time off at home, I've come to start up a new hobby of photography. She keeps changing every week and I hope to capture these special moments and cherish the time I have with her. Enjoy! :)

I would love to create an enchanted forest feel with a woodland themed nursery for baby bunny. Neutrals, soft colors, and cute creatures with an accent of floral should add just the right touch of feminine glow. :)
